Ember of the Sahara | Nomadic Cross Pendant
Ember of the Sahara was born from a deep admiration for the adornment traditions of the Tuareg people of the Sahara. Their historic crosses have long symbolised navigation, protection and identity across vast desert landscapes. Spaces of resilience, instinct and freedom, coupled with the knowledge and wisdom needed to navigate them. This piece is a contemporary interpretation shaped by that aesthetic language, holding physical weight and symbolic presence. A form of armour, a kind of compass, for navigating human life.
Each piece is cast into solid sterling silver or bronze, and finished by hand in Cape Town, with a light oxidisation to make the edges pop.
The Ember of the Sahara Pendant is part of Ember Studio’s Untamed Origins collection - one of the original designs that brought this wild jewellery brand into the sunlight. Comfortable for daily wear, and a gentle reminder that your path is your own.
